A multi-page website designed for a Canadian-themed pub in paris, focused on helping users quickly find essential information such as opening hours, menu, and events, especially on mobile, while preserving the pub'svibrant welcoming identity
Process:
I began with client meetings to understand their vision, brand personality, and audience. After researching similar pub sites, I built wireframes and designed a clean, intuitive layout highlighting key sections like reservations, hours, and beer selection. Throughout development, I focused on responsive design, clear navigation, and visual consistency. Regular feedback sessions ensured the design stayed true to the client’s goals.
Constraints Block:
- no budget for formal user research
- short delivery timeline
What I Learned:
This project strengthened my ability to balance cultural identity with usability, maintain design consistency across devices, and communicate effectively with clients through iterative feedback. The final website delivered a warm, user-friendly experience that aligned perfectly with the client’s vision.

The Product
A website for The Canadian Embassy Pub, a lively Canadian-style pub located in Paris, wanted to modernize its online presence. The goal was to create a website that reflects the warm, friendly, and slightly rugged pub atmosphere, with a nod to Canadian identity, while making it easy for visitors to check opening times, sports events, menu, and reservation options.

The Problem
The pub’s existing online presence was not very engaging or modern, making it hard to capture its energetic, social vibe.
Customers had difficulty finding key information: sports schedule, events, reservation options, and opening hours.
The site didn't fully communicate its Canadian identity, beer selection, and menu.
The mobile experience needed improvement — many users look up pubs on their phone.
The Goal
Build a welcoming, Canadian-inspired website that reflects the pub’s identity.
Highlight beer selection, pub food menu, and Canadian-style dishes.
Promote sports watching (TV screens, events) and make it easy to check match schedules.
Provide clear reservation system and contact page.
Make the site fully responsive, especially for mobile users.
My Role
I worked as the UX/UI Designer and Web Developer, responsible for research, user flows, wireframes, visual design, and building a responsive website that reflects the pub’s Canadian identity.

User Needs
Users needed quick access to:
Opening hours
Menu items and prices
Sports schedule and events
Reservations
Location and contact info
They also expected a mobile-friendly site and visuals that clearly show the pub’s lively, Canadian atmosphere.
Design Process
I organized the site’s structure, created wireframes, and designed a warm, Canadian-themed interface using reds, wood textures, and bold typography. I focused on clear navigation for the menu, sports schedule, and reservations, then developed responsive high-fidelity pages.

Design Process
User Needs
· Simplified navigation to reduce cognitive load and help users access key info in one or two taps
· Prioritized opening hours, menu. and events above the fold based on common pub-search behavior
Iteration: Initial layouts surfaced too much content at once, making key information hard to scan. I redefined the hierarchy to prioritize opening hours, menu, and events, improving clarity.
