A one-page website created for a client specializing in film translation. The goal was a minimalist, cinematic design that communicated precision, storytelling, and sophistication.

Process:
I began by meeting with the client to understand their vision and creative tone, clean, literary, and film-inspired. After researching visual references, I designed the layout in Figma, focusing on typography and composition. Development was done with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring smooth responsiveness and subtle visual transitions. Regular feedback helped refine the atmosphere and tone until it matched the client’s artistic style.

What I Learned:
This project taught me how to translate abstract, creative ideas into visual design, how typography can carry emotion and meaning, and the importance of balancing mood with readability and functionality. The final site captures the client’s professionalism and the cinematic feel they envisioned.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Product

The Product

Screen Translations is a professional script translation service for film, TV, and streaming productions. The product offers multi-language translation for screenplays, subtitles, treatments, and production materials. It focuses on accuracy, industry-specific terminology, fast delivery, and supporting creators throughout the production pipeline.

The Problem

The Problem

Screen Translations had no structured, professional online presence, making it difficult for film and TV clients to understand the services offered, the translation process, or what languages were available. Potential clients couldn’t quickly verify credibility, view testimonials, or easily contact the agency, reducing trust and limiting new business opportunities.

The Goal

The Goal

The goal was to create a clean, trustworthy website that clearly explains the translation process, showcases client testimonials, lists available languages, and makes it easy for film and TV professionals to contact the agency and request work.

My Role

My Role

I acted as the UX/UI Designer and Web Developer, shaping the site’s structure, design, and responsiveness to effectively represent a professional translations agency in the film & TV industry.

User Needs

User Needs

Film/TV professionals needed a trusted translation partner for scripts.

  • They needed clarity on process, languages offered, and rates.

  • They expected to reach out easily (contact form).

  • They wanted to hear client testimonials to validate quality.

Decision Process

Decision Process

I mapped the site around three core flows (translation process, testimonials, contact), built wireframes, and designed a clean, professional interface that highlights expertise and trust. The visual style is minimal but polished, using a neutral color palette and refined typography.

The Solution

The Solution

The final website includes:

  • A “Our 3-Step Process” section explaining how translations are done

  • A testimonials section from real creators

  • A language list (French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Finnish)

  • A contact page with rates, address, and a form to get in touch

The Outcome

The Outcome

The coffee shop gained its first professional online presence.

  • Customers can now easily browse the menu and summer specials.

  • Website reflects the colorful, refreshing, summer vibe the client wanted.

  • Increased discoverability and customer engagement.
