A one-page website built for a client specializing in furniture finishing and restoration. The goal was to create a clean, professional design that reflected craftsmanship, trust, and 30 years of experience.

Process:
I met with the client to understand his services and the aesthetic he wanted, simple, elegant, and quality-focused. After gathering visual references, I designed the layout in Figma with emphasis on clarity and showcasing work. I developed the site with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring smooth responsiveness and an easy way for clients to view services and get in touch.

What I Learned:
I learned how to visually express craftsmanship through layout and imagery, and how a focused one-page structure can effectively present a small business. The final site highlights the client’s expertise and the care he puts into every piece.

The Product

JMM Services offers expert furniture finishing and assembly, including:

Custom woodwork
Restoration and finishing touches
Assembly of furniture
Gold-leaf gilding
Restorative craftsmanship for vintage or high-end furniture

The Problem

Jorge, a furniture finishing and assembly specialist with 30 years of experience, didn’t have a strong digital presence. Potential clients couldn’t easily discover his services, see his previous work, or understand the range of craftsmanship he offers (woodwork, restoration, gold-leaf gilding, etc.).

The Goal

Create a clean, elegant website that showcases Jorge’s craftsmanship, highlights his key services (wood work, finishing, restoration, assembly, gilding), and makes it easy for clients to contact him.

My Role

I worked as the UX/UI Designer and Web Developer, handling research, site architecture, visual design, and building a responsive site.

- A “Contact” section with a form and his contact info
